Maciej Taube is an experienced Advocate (Attorney-at-law), focusing on commercial and civil law as well as corporate advisory. In his practice, he combines a business-oriented perspective with experience gained in public administration, a commercial company operating in the fuel and energy sector, and many years of practice in law firms in the Tri-City area (Gdańsk, Gdynia, Sopot).

At MGS LAW, Attorney Maciej Taube advises on corporate matters, company law and commercial law, including restructuring. On a day-to-day basis, he supports companies, including those operating in the energy and manufacturing sectors, providing ongoing assistance in corporate and transactional matters.

As part of his corporate advisory work, he provides day-to-day support to corporate bodies, reviews contracts and legal documents, and drafts and reviews internal corporate regulations and organisational acts. He also assists clients in registration proceedings and in structuring and streamlining corporate documentation and processes.

Attorney Maciej Taube has experience in transactional work, including the preparation of legal due diligence and vendor due diligence reports. He has been involved in reviewing and negotiating transaction documentation, as well as in the drafting and negotiation of share purchase agreements (SPA/PSPA). His experience includes transactions such as the sale of shares in a transport company by one of the largest corporate groups in Poland, the subscription/acquisition of shares in a maritime and logistics company by an entity from the capital group of one of the largest corporate groups in Poland, and the sale of shares and equity interests in energy companies by State Treasury companies.

In his professional practice, he also represents clients in civil and commercial disputes, both at the pre-litigation stage and in court proceedings. He has experience in administrative law and administrative proceedings, commercial contracts, debt recovery, and criminal law, including white-collar crime. He has also advised clients from the pharmaceutical sector, including in matters related to R&D.

Maciej Taube graduated in law from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Gdańsk. He completed his Advocate traineeship (bar apprenticeship) with the Pomeranian Bar Association in Gdańsk in 2014-2016 and has been practising as an Advocate since 2017. He is fluent in English (C1, CAE).
